copenhagen from above

my friend rhiannon from minnesota is here visiting for a couple of weeks. : ) yesterday was a beautiful day, and we climbed the rundetårn (round tower) to get an overview of the city. i love all of the different towers and roofs!

the view south (in the direction that i live). that’s the nikolaj kirke in the middle, with the copper spire.

looking north from rundetårn…you can’t really tell in this photo, but it looks like there are some high-rise suburbs in this direction…way out there…

the view southeast…in the far distance, you can just make out the wind farm turbines (they’re tiny from here!). to the left is the dome of the frederikskirke.
